Lomani to make Drua debut off the bench while Tela starts at fly-half

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians halfback Frank Lomani will make his debut for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua off the bench when they meet Queensland Reds in Super Rugby Pacific on Saturday.

The 25-year-old has played for the Melbourne Rebels for two seasons and recently returned from Europe where he played for the Northampton Saints.

Meli Derenalagi will captain the team again while the matchday 23 will also feature three debutants.

The two props are Kaliopasi Uluilakepa and Samuela Tawake while Mesulame Dolokoto gets his first start at hooker.

Isoa Nasilasila and Ratu Rotuisolia are the locks while the loose forward trio of Derenalagi, Vilive Miramira and Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta will start again.

Peni Matawalu is at halfback while Teti Tela gets his first start at flyhalf.

Coach Mick Byrne has retained the centre pairing of Kalaveti Ravouvou and Apisalome Vota while Vinaya Habosi is on the left wing for the fourth week straight.

Selestino Ravutaumada is on the right wing and Baden Kerr starts at fullback.

The Fijian Drua will meet the Reds at 8.45pm Saturday.

In other matches, the Blues will face the Highlanders at 6.05pm tomorrow, the Rebels will meet the Brumbies at 8.45pm tomorrow, the Hurricanes will take on the Moana Pasifika at 3.35pm Saturday, the Crusaders will play the Chiefs at 6.05pm Saturday and the Waratahs will meet Western Force at 3pm Sunday.
