Swire Shipping Fijian Drua co-captain and scrumhalf Frank Lomani who left the game early on Saturday with a dislocated shoulder is out for the season, as he needs shoulder surgery.

Drua Coach Glen Jackson says it is the same one he has had a few issues with for a while.

Also out of selection this week is lock Etonia Waqa after failing a Head Injury Assessment.

Jackson says with Lomani out, Mesulame Dolokoto will be stepping in as vice-captain.

He says Dolokoto has been a great leader off the field and has been there since day one, plus they also have Iosefo Masi in the backline.

The Drua play the Highlanders at 7.05pm in Dunedin this Saturday.

In other matches this weekend, the Hurricanes will play the Crusaders at 7.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will take on the Chiefs at 9.35pm Friday, the Blues will host Moana Pasifika at 4.35pm Saturday, and the Reds will play the Brumbies at 9.35pm Saturday.
