Swire Shipping Fijian Drua halfback Frank Lomani and prop Jone Koroiduadua will be appearing before the Foul Play Review Committee tonight for the hearing of the decision of their red card offences that occurred during their 41-20 loss to the Rebels in round 7 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific last Friday.

Lomani was sent off in the second half of the match after striking Rebels’ lock Josh Canham’s back of the head with his elbow, breaching Law 9.12.

Koroiduadua was also sent off in the dying stages of that match after he headbutted a Rebels’ player during a minor push and shove on the field.

He is also alleged to have breached Law 9.12.

In a statement released, the Super Rugby Pacific officials say all disciplinary matters are in the first instance referred to the Foul Play Review Committee to provide the option of expediting the judicial process.

For a matter to be dispensed with at this hearing, the person appearing must plead guilty and accept the penalty offered by the Foul Play Review Committee.

The hearing will be at 8 tonight via video conference.
