PSG completely dominated the game with 27 shots while the Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker had to make nine saves.
In other last 16 matches this morning, Inter Milan beat Feyenoord 2-0, Bayern Munich beat Leverkusen 3-0 while Barcelona beat Benfica 1-0.
Liverpool will host the second leg next Wednesday.
