At just 20 years old, Narieta Leba is set to light up the field tonight as she proudly represents the Fiji Kulas in their crucial clash against Tonga in the 2025 OFC Women’s Nations Cup.
Leba is originally from Koroqaqa Village in Ba.
She says this is her third time participating in the OFC Women’s tournament.
Leba began her football career in 2019 while attending Xavier College, where she competed in the secondary school IDC tournament in the open grade.
Football runs in the family for Leba, who says her biggest inspiration has always been her elder sister, a fellow footballer who paved the way for her dreams.
The Kulas will face Tonga at 7 tonight in their second pool match at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
They will then take on Vanuatu at 7pm on Friday, also at the HFC Bank Stadium.
