Leadership is about inspiring and empowering youths to reach their full potential to achieve better decision-making and work towards a brighter future.

Minister for Youth and Sports, Jese Saukuru highlighted this while officiating the closing ceremony of the Lau Youth Council Leadership Training Empowerment Program.

Saukuru says this journey will be significant for the youths as they have learned valuable skills and knowledge that will equip them to become effective leaders.

He says leadership is not just about holding a position but inspiring and empowering others, listening to their voices and advocating for their needs.

The Minister also acknowledged the dedication and passion of the Lau Provincial Youth Council in serving their fellow youth which will uplift and lead the youth of Lau towards a prosperous future.

Saukuru further says sports has evolved and become one of the highly-paid professions, surpassing some office jobs.
