Lautoka beats Labasa 2-1 to book place in the Fiji FACT final

The Hyperchem Pharmacy Lautoka side has beaten the Extra Supermarket Labasa in the first semi final of the 2023 Digicel Fiji FACT 2-1 to book their place in the final tomorrow.

Lautoka went into halftime with a 2-nil lead thanks to goals from Zibraaz Sahib and Sairusi Nalaubu.

Labasa came back in the second half to score a goal through Ilaisa Vulimainavuso but Lautoka held on to win.

Lautoka head coach, Ronil Kumar thanked his team for their efforts and says he had told the boys to be both physically and mentally prepared ahead of this game and stick to their game plan.

Labasa coach Thomas Vulivuli says they gave their best but it was not their day.

Vulivuli acknowledged the huge support from their fans.

Meanwhile, the second semi final is currently underway with Rewa leading Ba 1-0 as the game is into the second spell.
