17-year-old winger Aporosa Lalabalavu was the toast of the Vodafone Fiji U20s side as he scored three tries to help them secure a 48-16 win over Samoa in their final match of the Oceania Rugby U20s Championship at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this afternoon.
Fiji took a 17-8 lead at the break after scoring 3 tries and a conversion while the Samoans scored an unconverted try and a penalty kick at goal.
The home side came back stronger in the second half with 5 more tries while Samoa managed to score another consolation try and a penalty kick at goal.
The win has seen Fiji defend their Oceania Rugby U20s Championship title.
In another match today, Canada thrashed Tonga 57-27.
