Fijian TikTok sensation Anush Maharaj breaks Guinness World Record for the most company logos identified in just 30 seconds

Fijian TikTok sensation Anush Maharaj of Labasa made history on 29th May by breaking the Guinness World Record for the most company logos identified in just 30 seconds, putting Fiji on the global stage with a remarkable 60 logos recognised.

The 20-year-old, originally from Nagigi, Labasa, is not only a rising social media star but also a new Guinness World Record holder, having stunned the world by correctly identifying 60 company logos within 30 seconds, breaking the previous record of 54 logos held by India.

Maharaj moved to Suva to pursue his studies at Fiji National University’s Derrick Campus, where he is completing a Certificate in Refrigeration and Conditioning.

Despite his young age, Maharaj’s determination and passion for making a difference has led him to an extraordinary achievement that brings pride to Fiji.

Maharaj shares that no one from Fiji has ever achieved this before, and he finds it truly special to represent his country on a global platform.

He says only a few Fijian accomplishments have been recognised internationally, such as winning a gold medal at the Rio Olympics, which makes his world record even more significant.

While speaking to fijivillage, Maharaj reveals that after a personal setback when he was unexpectedly fired, when he called his two friends to attempt the record at Ratu Sukuna Park.

Maharaj first gained popularity as “The Mystic” on TikTok, where he shared motivational videos aimed at inspiring young people.

He shares the challenges he faced during his journey, including cyberbullying, harsh criticism, and false AI videos made about him,to tarnish his reputation.

Maharaj says that while people doubted him, he used those challenges as fuel to prove himself to others.

His message extends beyond the record itself, as he encourages young people, regardless of whether they come from villages or rural areas, to go out and make their dreams come true.

He adds that they should not waste time on negativity but instead focus on doing something for themselves first and then inspire others.

Maharaj emphasises the importance of faith and perseverance, saying that God tested him but ultimately blessed him with this achievement.

Now, as Fiji’s first Guinness World Record holder in this category, Anush Maharaj hopes his story will inspire others to overcome challenges and pursue their dreams with unshakable belief.
