Labasa delivered a power-packed performance, thrashing Nasinu 6–0 in Round 2 of the Extra Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour this afternoon.
Ashneel Raju, Jimson Abana, and Ilisoni Lolaivalu scored for the Babasiga Lions as they led 3–0 at half-time.
Labasa maintained the pressure in the second half, with Lolaivalu, Ratu Anare, and Rusiate Doidoi, adding three more goals to secure a 6–0 win over Nasinu.
In other Extra Premier League matches this afternoon, Rewa secured a commanding 3–0 victory over Tavua, with John Orobulu putting on a powerful performance by scoring all three goals for the Delta Tigers.
Navua also edged Suva 1–0, with Sairusi Nalaubu scoring the lone goal of the match.
Matches coming up tomorrow, Nadroga will host Lautoka at 1pm at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, and Ba will take on Nadi at 3pm at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba.
