The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side will focus on their defence this weekend at the HSBC SVNS World Championship in Los Angeles.
Coach Osea Kolinisau says their focus is on their defensive patterns, unlike in Hong Kong, where they committed too many players to the ruck, as well as over-chasing.
Kolinisau says there are still some weaknesses they are working on, including their communication, when to run the ball or make contact.
Fiji is in Pool B with New Zealand, Spain and Australia, while Pool A has Argentina, South Africa, France and Great Britain.
Fiji plays New Zealand in their first pool game at 6.06am on Sunday.
They then meet Australia at 9.07am before facing Spain at 12.13pm in their last pool match.
The semi finals are at 8.07am next Monday, with the cup final at 12.07pm.
