Nippy halfback Waisea Nacuqu brings a lot of experience to the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side, not just on the field but off the field as well.

Those were the comments made by coach Osea Kolinisau before the team jetted off to the HSBC SVNS World Championship in Los Angeles this weekend.

Kolinisau says not many teams can say they have a World Cup, 7s Series winner and Olympic silver medalist in their teams.

He says Nacuqu understands the way they want to play the game and his leadership on the field is unmatched.

Fiji is in pool B with New Zealand, Spain and Australia while pool A is made up of Argentina, South Africa, France and Great Britain.

Fiji plays New Zealand in their first pool game at 6.06am Sunday.

They then meet Australia at 9.07am before facing Spain at 12.13pm.

The semi finals are at 8.07am next Monday with the cup final at 12.07pm.
