FijiFirst Party General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica wants FijiFirst Party General Secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to come for a debate with him on fijivillage Straight Talk With Vijay Narayan.

Kamikamica says while he may respect Sayed-Khaiyum for what he has done in life, there are some big questions that the people of Fiji would like to know the answers to.

He says he was hoping both Sayed-Khaiyum and Voreqe Bainimarama would be in parliament, so that the Coalition Government can challenge them on some of the decisions they have made.

Kamikamica says these are things like Walesi wastage amounting to $128 million, and $200 million in film rebates owing to producers around the world.

He says that payment going out was never in the Budget and this year will be the first year that they have disclosed the amount they are paying for the rebates.

He says there is a lot that has gone wrong and he encourages the people of Fiji to read the Fiscal Review Report.

Kamikamica says when people read that report they will then realise how much damage has been done in Fiji as well as the challenges left to the coalition government to try and fix.

We are currently trying to contact Sayed-Khaiyum on whether he will front up to the fijivillage Straight Talk debate that Kamikamica has asked for.
