A man was charged and produced in court yesterday afternoon for being in possession of 538.3 grams of marijuana.
Tevita Bola was found in possession of the illicit drugs in Dravuni, Kadavu.
Bola appeared before Magistrate Josaia Waqaivolavola yesterday afternoon.
Magistrate Waqaivolavola released Bola on a cash bail of $500 with two sureties.
Waqaivolavola warned the sureties that if Bola does not appear during his court dates, they will pay $200.
The accused has also been warned not to interfere with the prosecution witnesses.
Bola will appear again before Magistrate Waqaivolavola on 29th September.
