Interim International Boxing Federation champion Daniel Dubois has made a stern statement saying that he is ready to fight and destroy when he meets former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua on Sunday.

Dubois slammed the table in mild frustration and refused to engage with Anthony Joshua when the two British heavyweights met in an understated news conference in London.

Dubois says he needs to legitimise himself by winning this fight.

He adds he’s got the momentum on his side and he is ready to defend his title.

The 27-year-old appeared eager for the news conference, while Joshua remained focused and respectful towards his opponent.

Dubois will take on Joshua for the vacant IBF heavyweight title in front of a reported post-war British record crowd of 96,000 at Wembley Stadium this Sunday.

The fight program will start at 3am.
