Jerry Tuwai to lead FDS Barbarians Brothers in the Marist 7s

Fiji Airways Men's National 7s rep Jerry Tuwai will be leading a formidable team in the 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s at the ANZ Stadium. The Flourishing Design Studio Barbarians Brothers team consist of some Fiji 7s reps such as Tuwai, Jiuta Wainiqolo, Kameli Rasaku, Anasa Qaranivalu and Suva openside flanker Taniela Sadrugu.

This will be the first time the Barbarians will be playing in the Marist 7s and will be one of the teams to look out for this week.

Tuwai last featured in the 2013 Marist 7s where he played for the Marist team.

FDS Barbarians Brothers are in one of three pool of deaths and are pooled with Police Blue, Z&S BBQ Yamacia, and Naviavia Gladiators Vanua Levu.

The tournament will kick off with the under 21 and women’s competition on Thursday.

The pool games for the men's competition starts on Friday and it will end with round one of elimination.

The main cup elimination and finals are on Saturday. There will be three finals in a row on Saturday including the final for the under 21, women’s and main cup.

Tickets are on sale at the Fiji Sports Council.

Ticket prices are $5 flat for day one, Friday is $7 flat and Saturday is $7 for ground and $20 for the grandstand.
