It taught me obedience, discipline and being a good citizen - Mousio

Cadet training has taught me obedience, discipline and being a good citizen - Mousio Maria Mousio, a year 12 student of Suva Grammar School says the cadet training has taught her about obedience, discipline and to become a good citizen of the country.

She is encouraging her peers to be a good citizen as well.

Mousio who is from Juju, Rotuma was part of the 481 students who participated at the Cadet pass-out parade Albert Park today.

She also received an award for Best Company Drill. Mousio says her experience with the cadets this year was challenging from the beginning of her training.

She further says she led her platoon and it has taught her about discipline, following instructions and how to become a good leader.

Mousio also wants to thank her instructor, her parents and the senior prefects.
