SODELPA Leader Viliame Gavoka.

With Tuvalu being at the forefront of climate change, SODELPA will back Tuvalu in anyway it can.

This was the message from SODELPA Leader Viliame Gavoka as he paid his condolences at the Tuvalu High Commission following the passing of the late Deputy Prime Minister of Tuvalu Alapati Taupo.

Gavoka says it’s part of their policy for SODELPA to formalize the status and the settlements where the Tuvaluans have settled in Fiji as a result of migration due to climate change.

The party leader says that apart from Tuvalu, SODELPA intends to do the same thing for the Solomon Islands as too many of them don’t know what their status is in Fiji.
