Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber

Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber says he feels privileged to be in a position to have his contract renewed considering how everyone else has been affected by COVID-19.

Baber says in these tough times, it is an opportunity for him to take a group of people that can do something very special and he is blessed to have that here in Fiji.

He says he knows how much rugby means to the people of Fiji and they are looking forward to the challenge of reaching the top once again.

Baber will continue to coach the Fiji 7s Team till the Olympics in Tokyo next year after his contract was renewed by the Fiji Rugby Union.

His current contract was supposed to expire on the 5th of February 2021 had the Tokyo 2020 Games taken place.
