Team Fiji Men’s 7s Coach Gareth Baber says it has been difficult getting information on teams that are part of the Olympics 7s competition over the last 6 to 7 months.

Baber says he strongly believes in knowing their opposition to better knowing themselves.

Baber further says Great Britain, Canada and Japan have played in some tournaments and they have had a look at it.

While speaking to Legend FM Sports from Oita, Japan, Baber says they have done their analysis.

Fiji has two matches on the opening day of the Olympic 7s Competition.

They will face Japan on the 26th of this month at 12pm before taking on Canada at 8pm.

Fiji will then play Great Britain at 12.30pm on the next day.

The top two teams in each pool, plus the two third-placed teams with the highest points total will qualify for the quarterfinals.

The quarterfinals will kick off on the 28th of this month.
