Iran shuts schools and universities until early April due to coronavirus

Iran is also closing schools and universities until early April due to the coronavirus outbreak affecting the country.

The first person has died in the UK from coronavirus.

It was an older patient with underlying health issues.

The UK government says it is preparing for 'significant' spread of the virus.

The World Health Organisation urges countries to act with "speed and determination".

Tennessee and New Jersey in the US have confirmed their first cases.

US states are now affected.

International Monetary Fund has announced $US50bn in funding for affected countries.
