The newly sworn-in Minister for Policing Iowane Naivalurua is looking forward to collaborating further with the Fiji Police Force in order to win back the hearts of the people that they serve.

Naivalurua says he was emotional while walking into the office he once roamed as the Commissioner of Police.

He is reminding the Fiji Police that they should not worry much about negative comments as they continue to come in despite the good work done.

Naivalurua says he hopes to improve the operational effectiveness of the Fiji Police Force with what they have right now.

The Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sakeo Raikaci says this is history in the making as they have their first-ever Minister for Policing.
