Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communications, Manoa Kamikamica says investigations into Walesi is still continuing and they should have it wrapped up by mid next year.

He has also referred questions regarding investigations into Vatis to the Department of Information as they had given Vatis the contract.

Investigations into Walesi and Vatis began earlier this year after the coalition government came into power.

Walesi was set up to handle a platform funded by the taxpayers and Vatis was a public relations company getting public relations and social media news content management contracts for government and statutory organisations.

One of the directors of Vatis was one of the former campaign managers of the FijiFirst, Arnold Chanel.
