There are injury concerns for Fiji Water Flying Fijians Powerhouse centre Semi Radradra as he may not play in the first Pacific Nations Cup match against Tonga on the 30th of this month at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Radradra says he is planning to meet with the coach and staff for a scan, which will determine whether he will be fit to play.
He is preparing to leave for Japan next week and says he is grateful to be given the opportunity to sign with the Shizuoka Blue Revs.
The dynamic centre will reunite with former Bristol Bears teammate and ex-All Black, Charles Piutau, and will also play with former Springboks 15s and 7s star, Kwagga Smith.
Radradra says it’s an honour to be joining the Blue Revs for the upcoming season and moving to a new environment is very exciting for him.
Japanese Ambassador to Fiji, Rokuichiro Michii says this move marks the next chapter in Radradra’s impressive career, as he brings his world-class talent and experience to the Japanese competition.
He says Radradra is a world-class player and the people of Japan cannot wait to see what he brings to the competition.
The Ambassador says the club is rich in cultural diversity and it is near the famous Mount Fuji.
