India defeats New Zealand by 70 runs to reach the Cricket World Cup final

India has defeated New Zealand by 70 runs to confirm its spot in the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final despite New Zealand threatening to spoil the party for the host at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai this morning.

India is now chasing their first World Cup title since 2011 where they won it on their home soil.

They will play either Australia or South Africa after tonight’s second semi final.

Australia will face South Africa at 8 tonight.

The final will be played at 8.30pm on Sunday.
