Gone Marama Bale Na Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Teimumu Kepa is adamant that she will not be contesting the 2022 General Elections

The Gone Marama Bale Na Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Teimumu Kepa is adamant that she will not be contesting the 2022 General Elections.

Ro Teimumu says she is returning to the village.

She says she thinks they have very good parliamentarians on both sides and they have a very good speaker.

Ro Teimumu served as a teacher for close to 30 years and has been in politics for the past 20 years.

She led SODELPA to the 2014 General Elections and served as the Opposition Leader from 2014 to 2018 and is a current member of the Opposition.

She served as the Minister for Education during the former SDL government’s tenure and was also part of the interim government after the 2000 coup which was chosen by Prime Minister and the then Army Commander Voreqe Bainimarama.
