Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau says he will not ask NFP MP, Pio Tikoduadua to withdraw a comment Tikoduadua made about him.

While opposing the Tobacco Control Amendment Bill, Tikoduadua had claimed that he regretted to say that Ratu Epeli was permitting the total abuse of parliamentary process to continue by the government when Bills are coming in.

Minister for Fisheries Semi Koroilavesau made a point of order for Tikoduadua to withdraw the comments.

While responding to Koroilavesau, Ratu Epeli says he has no problems with Standing Order 51 and it can be used by government to pass legislation.
