Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Head Coach Osea Kolinisau says he has lost his mentor and hero whom he considers Superman.

Kolinisau’s father, a former Military personnel and the Founder of the Kingdom Ambassador’s International Fellowship, Reverend Tuikoro Kolinisau was known to his family members and the church congregation as a man full of love, integrity, and wisdom.

Coach Kolinisau says he has lost the man behind his success and decorated career as a player.

Reverend Kolinisau passed away on Saturday at the age of 63.

According to one of his sons, Koro Kolinisau, his dad has left behind a legacy of faith and service and he is indeed a true man of God.

Coach Kolinisau is currently in Vancouver with the Fiji 7s team and will return to bury his dad after the tournament.

The Vancouver 7s will be held from this Saturday to next Monday.

Fiji will take on Uruguay at 7.18am Saturday for their first pool match, they will then take on the USA at 12.45 pm on the same day, before playing Spain at 6.52am Sunday in their last pool match.

The men’s cup quarter-final will kick off at 12.51pm Sunday, the cup semi finals will begin at 8.30am next Monday, and the Cup Final will kick off at 1.05pm.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s will take on Japan at 10am Saturday in their first pool match, they will then play France at 3.52pm on the same day, before playing Great Britain at 9.18am Sunday in their last pool match.

The women’s cup quarter-finals will kick off at 3.32pm Sunday, the semi finals will begin at 9.14am next Monday, and the cup final will kick off at 1.41pm.
