In form AFL Suva striker, Sairusi Nalaubu says he had to clear his mind from the loss against Nasinu and re-focus in their must win match against Rewa yesterday.

The former Gospel High School student was back to his best as he scored a hat-trick which helped Suva beat Rewa 4-2.

Nalaubu who is from Tabia in Labasa says he learnt from his mistakes against Nasinu and was confident he would be one of the goal scorers against Rewa.

Nalaubu started his soccer career in Suva and has also played for Rewa and Lautoka.

The 23 year old says that Roy Krishna is his favourite soccer player and apart from playing football he loves doing Police work.

Meanwhile, all 8 teams have the chance to qualify for the semi-finals on Saturday.

In Group A, Nasinu will qualify for the semi-finals with a win against Rewa while Rewa will need to beat Nasinu by four clear goals to reach the semis. On the other hand, Lautoka just needs a draw against Suva to qualify for the semis while Suva will also need a win or draw to qualify to the semis based on the result of the Rewa-Nasinu game.

Lautoka has four points, Suva and Nasinu have three points each while Rewa has one point.

In Group B, Navua will qualify for the semi-finals if they beat Nadi while Nadi will need to beat Navua with as many goals as possible and wait for the outcome of the Ba vs Labasa match.

Ba will need a draw against Labasa to qualify for the semis while Labasa will need to beat Ba to qualify depending on the result of the Navua and Nadi match.

Ba has four points, Labasa and Navua has three points while Nadi has one point.
