Hurricanes head coach Jason Holland says his team is "under no illusions around the challenge ahead of them" as they prepare to face the Blues tonight.

The Blues have been on a good run of form lately, winning three of five games this season.

Holland cites the Blues consistency and physicality as the component to their game which poses the biggest threat.

The Hurricanes will take on the Blues at 6.05 tonight.

In other matches, the Rebels play the Lions at 8.15pm, the Sharks battle the Jaguares at 1.05am tomorrow while Bulls face the Highlanders at 3.15am tomorrow.

Looking at results from yesterday the Crusaders edged the Reds 24-20, the Chiefs thrashed the Waratahs 51-14 while the Brumbies beat the Sunwolves 47-14.
