The hunt continues for escaped prisoner, Lemeki Tupali.

Commissioner of Police, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho says the taskforce and investigating team are following some leads but they cannot release much till they establish more.

Qiliho has directed additional resources be provided to the taskforce conducting the search for Tupali and that all efforts be directed towards his arrest.

He is also reiterating the warning that anyone found to be aiding or harbouring Tupali will be arrested and face the full brunt of the law.

Tupali escaped from CWM Hospital and is considered to be high risk and was serving time for a series of aggravated robbery cases.

Members of the public are urged to immediately report any sightings of him to their nearest Police Station or Crimestoppers on 919.
