Some people have contacted fijivillage, saying Lautoka is already is an area of concern, and this can just make matters worse.

Hundreds of people have rushed to the Tilak High School vaccination centre in Lautoka to get their COVID-19 vaccine today and this has resulted in lack of social distancing being followed.

Some people have contacted fijivillage, saying Lautoka is already an area of concern, and this can just make matters worse.

Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong says he has spoken to Police and they will ensure the COVID guidelines are strictly followed.

We have also contacted Police.

Please avoid crowds as they can become super spreaders.

Maintain your social distancing, keep your mask on, ensure your careFIJI app is running and wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser.
