The founder of global megachurch Hillsong, Brian Houston, has resigned after an internal investigation found he behaved inappropriately towards two women.
This has been announced by the Acting Head of Hillsong Church Pastor Phil Dooley who has acknowledged that change is needed.
Hillsong revealed last week Houston had engaged in a conduct of serious concern.
In January, Houston stepped down as the director of all Hillsong boards to defend a criminal charge that he concealed his father's child sexual abuse.
