Winston Hill is the new Super Welterweight champion after dropping Jese Ravudi in the third round of the Tuwai Investment Pte Ltd 2023 FMF Fiji Boxing Series that was held at the FMF Gymnasium.

In the first round, Ravudi was able to hold his own against Hill as they traded a few big body shots in the centre of the ring.

However, towards the end of round 2 all Ravudi could do was cover up as Hill went on the attack peppering him with body shots and jabs.

While Hill was still able to bounce around the ring, Ravudi seemed to almost be dragging himself after him as they traded a few more blows, with Hill making Ravudi chase him.

Towards the end of the third round, Ravudi did not know that Hill was setting him up for a final shot to the kidney which dropped him to his knees.

After a quick count from the referee, Ravudi got back to his feet to resume the fight, just to give up a few seconds later giving Hill the victory.
