The Highlanders' season has gone from bad to worse after they coughed up a 10-5 halftime lead to lose 38-13 to the Bulls in a match that had threatened to descend into farce because of a first-half jersey clash.

With the Highlanders wearing their new alternate jersey, which is also blue, the two sides were virtually indistinguishable in the first half, particularly at scrum and lineout time.

The Bulls changed into a yellow jersey at half-time.

Looking at other results from last night, Rebels beat the Lions 37-17 while the Sharks beat the Jaguares 33-19.
