Highlanders part ways with head coach Aaron Mauger

Aaron Mauger's contract will not be renewed by the Super Rugby Franchise. [planetrugby.com]

Aaron Mauger’s time as head coach of the Highlanders has come to an end after three seasons, with the Super Rugby franchise opting not to renew his contract.

Under Mauger’s leadership over the last three years, the Highlanders went through quarterfinals losses in 2018 and 2019 and a fourth-place finish in this year’s Super Rugby Aotearoa.
