Flood, Heavy Rain, and Strong Wind Warning remain in force

A Flood Warning remains in force for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Ba, Nasivi River in Tavua and Nakauvadra River Rakiraki while a Flood Alert is in force for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of all major rivers in Fiji.

Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji Group.

A Flash Flooding Warning remains in force for all low-lying, flood prone areas and small streams of Fiji.

This will result in flooding on major roads with significant disruption to essential services, power supply and traffic flow.

A Strong Wind Warning is now in force for the coastal land areas of the Western and Northern parts of Viti Levu including Sigatoka to Nadi, Lautoka, Ba through Tavua to Rakiraki, the interior of Ba, Ra, Nadroga/Navosa, Serua/Namosi, Naitasiri provinces and Tailevu North, Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Vatulele and Kadavu.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure which is associated with clouds and rain continues to affect the country while another active trough of low pressure which is associated with rain is expected to affect the group from the west tomorrow and gradually spread to the rest of the country until Sunday.
