A group of youths from Cunningham are putting themselves out to the world with some innovative singing from their neighbourhood, and this is catching the attention of many.

The One Crew Band is known for their hit song called “Hamaza” which they released last month.

They have released their second song, Sereqo last week.

One Crew Band singer, Ratu Kameli says when they started, they did it just for fun and after receiving a lot of positive feedback, they decided to be serious about it and make it big on the music stage.

Kameli says by taking this step, they are also trying to change the mindset of the people who see the youths of Cunningham as troublemakers.

He says they want to be known as peacemakers.

When asked what “Hamaza” means, Kameli says it is a song about the Cunningham area where they now live and call home and the struggles that they face in that area trying to make ends meet.

Kameli further says they have set their target and that is to create more content this year and be around in the music industry for as long as they can.

Kameli says they are funding things on their own at the moment and they hope to attract some sponsorship in the future to help them produce more content.
