Fiji’s only local bank, HFC is allocating $50,000 to support people and communities affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.

HFC Bank through its internal Community Focus Committee will look at options on how it could provide this assistance directly and effectively.

They will be working directly with the National Disaster Management Office and will be visiting the communities to ascertain those who are in dire need of assistance.

HFC Bank CEO Rakesh Ram says their sympathies and prayers are with all those who have been affected and they stand ready to support the people of Fiji in the most appropriate way possible.
