Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru confirms that the HFC Bank Stadium will be ready by next month.
Saukuru says they are in a better place in terms of sporting facilities with the re-opening of the Aquatic Centre and the National Hockey Centre.
He says they were forecasting that the work would be delayed, but since the country has been having favourable weather in the past few weeks, the ground and the tracks are ready.
When questioned by the media if the early completion of the stadium will result in some Swire Shipping Fijian Drua home matches being moved to Suva, the Minister says it can be done, but it will be for the Drua management to decide.
