The Greater Good Foundation Fiji is looking for financial assistance to support animals that are being cared for at their sanctuary in Ba.

The non-profit organisation is Fiji's only animal sanctuary.

It says it costs them approximately $1.33 a day to feed and care for each animal under their care.

They are urging people if they can sponsor a dog for $40 a month.

Greater Good Foundation Fiji says on Diwali night, two of their fellow dog guardians went out feeding homeless dogs and found a dog in a schoolyard who has a serious eye infection and with treatment the dog is already showing signs of improvement.

If you are willing to help, you can call the Greater Good Foundation on 8640200.
