Grandson of former All Black to join Uluinakau 7s U20 team for Coral Coast 7s

Travis Cashmore, the grandson of former All Black Adrian Cashmore is in Fiji and has linked up with the Uluinakau Sevens under-20 team preparing for the upcoming McDonald's Coral Coast Sevens next month.

Cashmore who plays for the Seafarers Sevens club and Green Island rugby club from Dunedin, New Zealand is thrilled to be a part of this programme and is looking forward to playing in his first Coral Coast 7s tournament in Fiji.

Jekope Maiono, who is the driving force behind the Seafarers Rugby club says they started a programme called the Fiji Sevens Rugby experience which allows their players to come to Fiji and play in a local 7s tournament.

Maiono says, he hopes this programme will attract more players to join their club and he looks forward to sending more players to Fiji for local sevens tournament experiences.

The Coral Coast Sevens tournament will be held from the 12th to the 14th of next month.
