It is a special day for one of the devotees, as he shares his birthday with Lord Ram on the final day of the Ram Navami celebration at the Shiv Mandir, Samabula.

Rajiv Goundar says he was surprised to see that his birthday falls on the same day as Lord Ram's birthday.

He says he is thankful for the opportunity to perform the ‘tabla’ with his group on this auspicious occasion and expressed his gratitude towards his mentors for guiding him all the time.

National Nari Sabha Vice President, Lalita Sharma says every year they celebrate Ram Navami with great joy.

She says it is the time of the year when they remember and remind their kids of the Lord Ram’s birth place.

Sharma showed mixed emotions while sharing her feelings on the last day of Navami.

She says it is one of the occasions that many people look forward to every year.

Present among the devotees was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Biman Prasad.

Professor Prasad shared his experience when he visited the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, India in February.

He says he felt like Lord Ram would say something to him when he stood in front of the idol in the temple.

Prasad describes his feelings as unreal and urges the devotees to take lessons from the life of Lord Ram.

As the celebration neared the end, many devotees got emotional saying they will have to wait until next year to celebrate this joyous occasion again.
