Gospel High School U17 boys defeat Suva Grammar School 15-6 in the Suva Secondary Schools Basketball

Day 2 of the Suva Secondary Schools Basketball Competition started off with a bang in the Under 17 boys after Gospel High School beat Suva Grammar School 15-6 in their first game today.

Gospel High School Under 17 Captain Caleb Narayan says they are happy with the win and good defence got them the victory.

Narayan says they want to keep the momentum going and to feel confident enough to take the shot when the opportunity arises.

In other Under 17 games this morning, Marist Brothers High School beat Ratu Kadavulevu School 14-7.

In the Under 15 boys, Yat-Sen Secondary thrashed Marist Brothers High School 43-8 while International School Suva beat Suva Grammar School 20-11.

The games continue this afternoon.
