Good Samaritans step up to help Howell Rd family that lost everything in a fire last Wednesday

A group of good Samaritans have stepped up to help a family in Howell Road who lost everything in a fire last Wednesday.

The group led by Graham Toganivalu says they are just a community of faith that believe in the importance of a healthy community.

Toganivalu says they were moved by the situation that the family had just gone through, and wanted to support them in the best way they can.

He says in no way are they wanting any recognition, but they hope and pray that the contributions made by some families in and around Suva would help this family rebuild, and be able to restore their faith in the community they are part of.

Toganivalu says they want to thank all their donors for their help in the Howell Road Family Donation Drive, especially to Beacon School Director Fane Saumaibulu and the Boys and Girls Scouts of the school.

He adds they are hoping that Government will help assist the family with a housing solution soon.
