Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings is excited about the performance of the players that have joined the team for the Hong Kong 7s that kicks off tomorrow.
Nine players in the Fiji 7s squad for this weekend’s Hong Kong 7s were not part of the team that lost to Australia in the final of the same tournament in November last year.
Gollings says the boys that came in have been fantastic, and it will be a good opportunity for them to feature in a tournament such as the Hong Kong 7s.
Fiji will kick start their campaign against Samoa at 7.28pm tomorrow, then they will face Canada at 3.52pm Saturday and play Argentina at 8.37pm Saturday in their final pool match.
The cup quarter-finals will start at 2.02pm Sunday, the semi-finals will begin at 7.29pm Sunday and the final will be held at 12.15am Monday.
