No one is selected into the National 7s squad without merit and Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings and Assistant coach Viliame Satala know what Fiji 7s player Ropate Rere is capable of doing.

Those were the words of Fiji Rugby Administrator Simione Valenitabua while speaking about the selection of Rere in the Fiji 7s squad for the HSBC Perth 7s this weekend.

He says the 23-year-old will also bring the x-factor in the team.

The Fiji Men’s 7s side will take on Samoa at 6.38pm Friday in their first pool match and play France at 11.31pm Friday.

They will then take on New Zealand at 5.25pm on Saturday in their final pool match.

The Men’s cup quarter finals will start at 10.10pm Saturday, the cup semi finals will kick off at 5.10pm Sunday and the cup final will start at 9.53pm Sunday.
