Two Australian Rugby legends Will Genia and Matt Giteau have placed their bets on the Fiji Water Flying Fijians side to make it through to the cup quarter finals of the upcoming Rugby World Cup in France later this year.

While speaking in a talkback podcast Genia and Giteau predicted that the Flying Fijians and the Wallabies will be the top two teams from pool C.

Genia who has earned 110 caps for the Wallabies says with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua playing really well at the Shop N Save Super Rugby competition this year, it now has provided enough depth in the pool of players that Flying Fijians coach Simon Raiwalui would be picking from.

He says with the Fijian Drua players playing and performing consistently at the Super Rugby level, the Flying Fijians will be a tough team to beat this year at the RWC.

Giteau who has made 103 appearances for the Wallabies says with the Fijian Drua getting a bit more game knowledge and controlling the game tempo, they will be a very dangerous team to beat.

The Flying Fijians are in pool c alongside Australia, Wales, Georgia and Portugal.
