Chair and Co-founder of Walk on Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji’s Sina Kami says they are targeting to collect $300,000 annually to assist children with cancer.

Kami co-founded WOWS Kids after the passing of her daughter Tae in 2008.

76 identified children suffer from cancer in Fiji.

The youngest is a 13-month-old child.

32 new cases were recorded in 2022.

Kami says WOWs Kids Fiji was founded in 2009.

It has launched Gift Your Birthday on International Childhood Cancer Day.

Gift Your Birthday is a program where you gift your age in cash - a 20 year old can gift $20 towards WOWs Kids Fiji.

Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Lynda Tabuya, and Assistant Minister Sashi Kiran were also present at the launch.
