Garcia stops Campbell in Rd 7

Lightweight sensation, Ryan Garcia has silenced all critics after beating Luke Campbell via a 7th round technical knockout at the American Airlines Centre.

A lot of boxing fans were questioning whether Garcia could live up to the hype despite winning all 20 previous fights including 17 via knockout.

Campbell looked good in the first few rounds and even scored a knockdown in round 2 but the American’s speed and power was too much for Campbell.

22 year old Garcia is now expected to challenge lightweight champion, Devin Haney.
